Experience in scientific and technical translation, in particular patents, but also in more general fields (press articles, web sites, advertising brochures) and business (annual reports, stock market analyses). Special interest in pharmacology and medical techniques. Stylistic linguistic skills.

Training:
Initial training in Applied Foreign Languages, then specialisation in technical translation. Several courses, including a 6-month end of year course, in companies specialised in translation. DESS degree in Languages & Techniques (CFTTR, Rennes 2 University): translation and technical writing, IT (macro programming), initiation in computer assisted translation software, in-depth use of Microsoft software and Internet resources

Experience:
Experience in England as a technical translator / reviewer in an international translation company and experience in translating patents and technical documents.

Experience in literary then scientific and technical translation.
